Play Nintendo games online where you have no voice chat (except with friends, and only some games) and no kick option. Frankly, I'm surprised they allow usernames.

I'm only partially being sarcastic, by the way. Nintendo games actually are pretty good about not allowing toxicity in online gaming but at a big expense.

For PC, I would say just play with friends and friends of friends and that's it.

I was under the impression that there are no wrong ways to game. There are ridiculous ways of playing, but wrong?

Yes there are wrong ways to play. If I'm in a "free for all" game of quake 3 and instead me and some other guy team up to take everyone else out, that's kinda wrong. Likewise if I'm in a team game and I'm shooting my teammates as much if not more than the other team, that is ALSO wrong.

If the object of the game is to push a cart from point A to point B and instead I'm off in the corner practicing my Rocket Jump skills, that's pretty wrong as well... you can practice that offline, you don't have to do it in the middle of a game.

ok maybe its just me but not sure all of those are wrong ways to play. in free for all as far as i know its only implied to be everybody against everybody. so a couple of players used a better strategy, i have nothing against that, and yes it has happened to me and it really didnt bother me.

ok yea in a team match i have to agree killing teammates is a pretty jacked up and from a standard point of view yea i can see how people would think its wrong.

that last example can be pretty subjective. i mean what if a game doesnt have an offline or solo mode to practice. i hear that battlefront 1 (ea's version) didnt have a single play mode, i dont know if they changed that or had some kind of practice mode.

for me this is all just speculation and curiosity. i dont play multiplayer games all that often, let alone pvp games. i mostly prefer single player and occasional co-op
It's not whether your win or lose but who you go home with after the game.

They--like trolls--thrive on getting attention, thus you deprive them of their sustenance causing them to wither and rot.

Buy everyone you play with addon nipple tassels. Fap furiously as they all swing about singing you praises.

A rock doesn't love but it sure can shine if you sprinkle gold on it. Let loose with your flesh, and behold the love of the vultures. So tasty, so kind.

I say mute/deal with it.

Nothing you can do but block comms and hope you aren't playing a game where they can be toxic in other ways. People acting like these sort don't ruin matches are making believe.

Is "Toxic Community" now the trendy thing to say in online games?

Because recently I humiliated someone in GTA Online, and the kid typed the same thing in the chat: "what a toxic community"...
