Can it be used for mining? This is a serious question.

$500-$600

The 965m is about equal to a gtx 1050 and those laptops start around $600.
Explain why MSI needs our laptops on top of the wholesale cost they're already get from us in their GT72(s)/GT80(s) trade in program? MSI isn't to be trusted!

Probably around $500. Not sure what that translates to Canadian.

Probably not. or at least it wouldn't do well enough to be worth while.

$500 seems to be the consensus so far, which I think is fair.

$500 USD is currently $622 CDN, so I'd probably round up to $650 asking price but prepare to accept $600.

I'm still up for more price opinions but thanks for the replies everyone.

I think because it's a rog/i7/ddr4 you should stay at 650. Just me though.

$1400 because it has an nvidia GPU inside of it. Those miners will pay anything right now so rip them off. Just list it on eBay and talk about how amazing it is at mining.

Lol well the thought had crossed my mind to boost the price due to the mining craze. Not so much to claim that it can mine, but due to the prices of components in general.

Not going to go $1400, but I might bump my initial asking price up a little, even if it is just $700 and see what offers come in.
