I rock 2 rx480s so I'm expecting to get worse performance and have to disable one card, and no 4k.

Has there honestly been a truly good FF games since the PS2 era? 10 is probably the last one I'd really consider decent.

I vote no.
They should just rename the game and stop using the name final fantasy.

I have a suspicion that the last remnant was originally a final fantasy game that got renamed because it was too big a departure.

Yeah the last one I really played to finish was 12 and it was a real chore. Bored me to tears. I wasn't fond of the direction the combat system went and the characters and story were all forgettable. I'll stick with 4, 5, 6, and 7 as the best in the series. 8 and 10 were different but not bad. I guess 9 was okay, but has an overall more childish feel I couldn't get into.

So why does it have such high requirements ?
You would think a patato could run final fantasy.

I would assume these companies are just bad at doing efficient ports.

If you read the Nvidia FFXV article they released the graphics and settings go way beyond PS4 and X1. The game will not look like X1X and Pro.

Nah, but I'll be running 1080p/144hz max (60hz if it caps there I guess) with my GTX 1070.
Play games, not companies.
