A tad surprised that they're launching two FF titles in about a month of each other.

And still no FFIV PSP and/or SNES version on Steam :(

Over 100gb for minimum specs...

Wasnt it stated somewhere by SE themselves that the 100 GBs min that was initially reported was a slander/exaggeration and it was actually less than that? (or am I thinking of a different game?)

Could be the installation file taking into consideration.

IIRC it was initially reported that the game required 170 GB to install. That's still a substantial drop.

First FF I had zero interest in. So it's definitely a pass for me. I hope it's a good port from SE for once though.

I dont buy games with content exclusive to certain stores preorders for more than $5.

The game is missing a lot of story content. Feels like the last 5 chapters are missing.
Maybe I get it on deep sale.
and FFXIII is garbage.

As someone who reveled in playing Lightning Returns, which was basically a fashionista extravaganza throughout... Putting the "Fashion collection DLC" as a Steam pre-order bonus, they know EXACTLY who their market is.

*sigh*...Well I guess I know what I'm getting.

And f*** it, the game looks like quirky fun. It's a lot of visual flair and mucking about from what I've seen of the console versions. I'm down for that if it's a good port, and the fact they're releasing a benchmark gives me a sliver of hope that it means they have confidence in the performance this time.

That's more likely, sadly.

Considering the fact that the PC version of FF13 required 50 GB after installation, I don't think it's unlikely that FF15 requires 100 GB. :/

I'd say that 100GB is a conservative estimate.
The current PS4 version with all the currently released DLC and updates is 89GB. The higher resolution textures and the updates (including an expansion of the final dungeon of the game) should be more than enough to push it above that. That's not taking into account the upcoming DLC episodes.

On the main topic, I guess we'll have to wait and see just how mod friendly the PC port is. That'll be the most defining feature of the Windows Edition.
I used to have a good signature, then I got modded for it.
Now I shall try to think of something edgier to put here.
