They do. That's not going to lower prices of regular GPUs, though, since if a regular GPU can mine, why not mine with one.

Plus some of the mining cards don't even have a video output, so you can't even resell it to a gamer when you're done with it.

They have and they're already less ideal as new coins rely less on script.

You're thinking of ASIC mining cards, which aren't actually GPU based. They're fixed function chips, allowing for much lower heat and power consumption relative to crypto mining potential, but they can only mine what they're built to mine because they aren't programmable.
