Is the PS4 version not 60fps?

In any case, will probably pick this up. I backlogged IZJS so I might as well just continue playing on this instead.
2017 Goal: 400pp and 500pp. Current top play: 307pp

I was so hyped, but then I saw Denuvo.

What is happening to gaming?!

Piracy happened, and some companies (specially Japanese companies) think Denuvo is a savior of PC gaming from the terrible piracy devil.

Japanese companies are too out of touch with... everything. To them, piracy makes them lose more money than how much they could make by selling the game DRM-free.

Shame, really.

I think the only Japanese company not using DRM nowdays is Koei. And it's hard to convince the others that DRM-free is better in the end. Then again, it's either Denuvo or Always-online-with-Server-Side-content. And honestly, I prefer Denuvo, considering how unstable my Internet is.

.

BTW, this is how stupid Japanese companies can be:

(For the ones that don't wanna click the link, it's basically showing Square praising Denuvo and saying "It’s thanks to you guys that people have to buy the game.").

Hilarious. Whoever pitches that snake oil must be amazing.

It's important to know what the rules are first, so that, when you decide to break them, you can better judge the effect.

Lucky you, that was the last real Final Fantasy game.
It's kind of a hidden gem that nobody knows about,
but it's a solid game.

Ehhhhhh... given how Lost Odyssey was developed by the same people, and carried over an improved battle system from FFX, I wouldn't call it a "real Final Fantasy game". People remember it fondly because the FF13 series was much worse, but people at the time were going "WTF? This isn't Final Fantasy!" Though I had never played an FF game at the time so I didn't get the uproar.

Oh, Tecmo. Really? DOA Xtreme 2 is an ancient Xbox360 game, but somehow it doesn't allow the disc to be installed to the f***ing Xbox. No other game from that time frame pulled that s***. Only the newest of new s*** on 360 like Titanfall did it for technical reasons.
Xbox One dis-Kinected 6/9/14. Let that be a lesson to people. Vote with your wallet.

XII was infinitely better than both IX and X. I said that at the time, and still do today.

People just have s***ty taste.

Anyone else noticed that the system reqs for this are only *slightly* beneath DOOM 2016?

I'm also in the process of killing Yiazmat on the PS4 version. He's easier than he's ever been, but still a superboss.

You can prepare better to make him a steamroll but I've seen those people's playtimes.

Not me .
I started with the first one back when it was released in the states, and I thought XII was MUCH better than X.

I'll definitely be getting it on Steam.
