Fire Strike combined score dropped from 10,095 to 10,016, that's a whole 0.008%. Where do I get my refund? This is ridiculous.

so what happened to the 30% drop those AMD fanboys were jacking off to?

I imagine they were for ancient CPUs no one even uses anymore.

It was likely depending on certain uses in certain circumstances and not something that affects gaming.

Whilst I'm glad it hasn't really done too much to affect me, I'm still not happy that this has supposedly been an issue since 1995 and Intel hasn't found out (or maybe they did and just didn't bother) until now.

Well, you can just look at Intel's stock and AMD's stock to demonstrate how nobody understands and/or cares about this issue.

AMD's stock slightly, slightly rose. Intel's stock is exactly where it was a month ago. They went from $45 to $43. Nobody gives a s***.

Maybe later there will be some larger performance reduction, but this is being way way overblown. People are seriously suggesting that this is the reason AMD has been doing so terrible in the CPU game for the past decade. Nope. They just went with the "more cores, more cores" strategy and didn't prioritize single core IPC efficiency like Intel did.

The fact that my overclock become unstable even after lowering frequency after the patch is what gets me. I don't seem to get any performance difference.. but it introduced instability to my overclock. I was at 4.5ghz. I tried 4.4 at same voltage. Didn't work. 4.3 seems to be the magic number now and I won't up voltage more than I need to. This update cost me 200 mhz.
