Customization options are through the roof. You get the best of both worlds, Firefox-styled legacy extensions and Chrome-styled WebExtensions.

It's the most private and secure browser as well, retaining all of Firefox's privacy options but purging its fingerprinting vector APIs while also backporting security patches from the relatively unprotected (due to lacking as many safety addons) Firefox.

And the Text-to-Image addon still works! I can't imagine how anyone lives without Waterfox.

I'd be more inclined to look into it if you listed some potential cons as well, instead of sounding like a spam bot.

I'll stick with Pale Moon as I love it and have no complaints. Also surprised Brave wasn't mentioned.

This.

Might give Waterfox a try once FF52 ESR stops getting supported though.

I was really enjoying Firefox Quantum (hadn't used Firefox for the longest time until that came out), and then they did that Mr. Robot add-on bulls***. Went back to Vivaldi for a while but that has some really, really dumb glitches that shouldn't exist. Decided to give Pale Moon another shot after all these years, feels kinda vintage and good.

I didn't care that much for Firefox Quantum when it first released, but I've configured it since then to be more to my liking.

I can totally understand that many of people's add-ons aren't available in Quantum making it undesirable for them to use now. I'm just fortunate that the only two add-ons I really use were uBlock Origin and NoScript.

NoScript wasn't available for a short while in Quantum, but I got more comfortable using uMatrix, and now like it much better than I do the new NoScript, so I'm fine with using Quantum now.

is it just me or does Firefox Quantum have trouble loading up reddit? it takes years to load reddit on my quantum where it loads on chrome in 5 seconds. weird. I hate Chrome but I might have to switch.

Just compared and didn't notice any difference in loading speed. Add on issues?
