Completely new to PC Gaming.

Was thinking of getting Arizona Sunshine.

Any recommendations?

First off, wait for the upcoming winter sale.

Anyway, Arizona Sunshine is pretty good.

Superhot VR is a short but great title.

Sairento VR is usually a top pick.

I'm fond of Dead Effect 2 VR despite it being a mobile port with a horrible name.

Elite Dangerous is a fully fleshed out seated experience. (no motion controls, serviceable with a controller but really shines with a HOTAS)

And if you want something that kind of feels like ArmA lite, there is Onward.

Those are the titles (that don't require heavy patching and Japanese regional settings) that I play the most.

Still waiting for a great mech game and a good dungeon crawling RPG. (ideally in the vein of Wizardry)

I really liked Vanishing Realms.

That demo for Budget Cuts was great too.

Accounting is worth a punt, quite a lot of freebies and demos are worth a go too.

Going to buy something cheap during the sale. Considering Keep Defending. Like the style and looks fun. Steamlab VR made me enjoy the bow and arrow.

My opinion on some of the bigger titles for VR:

Arizona Sunshine - Fun but short. I beat it in coop in one playthrough in about 2 hours. I know there's wave modes and I'll give it a try but I don't really have much desire to go through the campaign again. It's rather pricey for 2 hours, but like I said, the wave mode might make the price more reasonable. That being said, with it short, it definitely feels like the most polished single player campaign in VR.

Onward - Probably my top pick for VR. The game is really fun but has some downtime issues where if you die early, you'll be sitting around for a few minutes not doing anything.

Pavlov - Solves the boring time in Onward but feels more arcade-y in smaller maps.

Superhot VR - Very short but a very cool experience. I unfortunately don't feel much desire to replay it though.

Space Pirate Trainer - It's a simple arcade style game but it's priced pretty well and I actually want to keep playing. It's just a stationary shooter where robots fly around you and you have to move around but it holds a lot of replay value simply for going for high scores, as well as giving a great workout

Audioshield - Similar pros to Space Pirate Trainer, insanely high replay value, hasn't gotten old for me and I don't see it getting old. It's also an awesome workout

OrbusVR - First ever MMORPG for VR, just came out yesterday actually. I already put 3 hours into it and I'm really enjoying it. I'm having a lot of fun with it. The only other MMO I played was WoW and this brings back some good memories but VOIP and a lot of nice people make this experience even more unique. It's kind of pricey for $40 but it seems like there's a good amount of content for it. I'm glad I bought it so far, I can see myself sinking a lot of hours into it.

Project cars 2
Assetto corsa
Dirt rally
War thunder
DCS world
Aerofly FS 2 flight simulator
Lone echo (might be an oculus home exclusive, still awesome though)

These would be my top vr games, racing and flight simulator /aerial combat games are a natural fit for vr.

I'll give a nod to Elite Dangerous. Playing with a HOTAS is one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

If you have a Vive and Intel hardware, LA Noire just came out and it's pretty amazing (sig). It's only 7 cases, not the entire game, but that's why it's only $30. It's a very polished VR experience.

I would also recommend Sairento (full campaign mode releases next month when the game comes out of Early Access), Hot Dogs/Horseshoes/Hand Grenades or Arizona Sunshine. All are pretty great.
