Just upgraded to 1080ti.

I am running dual tv setup.

I noticed that one of my tvs has a little choppy fps compared to the other, and i noticed that its always the tv thats plugged into the hdmi port that is the choppy one.

so... my 1080ti hdmi port is not as smooth as my display port... what do i do? any1 know how to fix?

Same TV? Same resolution on both TV? Same refresh rate?
If it's 4K TV does it have HDMI 2.0?

Are you also monitoring FPS on the TV to confirm it's actually a bit choppy or going purely by sight? A lot of TVs have interpolation or frame smoothing to make the FPS look higher than it is but that's just a baseless assumption from my end..
Mind the grue.

they r not the same model tv but they r same resolution and refresh rate.

i can tell just by looking at it i have pretty good eyes and Can tell when i move my mouse around its choppy / not as good as the displayport monitor.

ive tried everything but nothing will work. think im gonna buy an adapter. ty

I had the same problem initially -- for some reason my HDMI output defaulted to 30hz.

Go to 'Change resolution' under display in NVIDIA control panel and make sure the display is set to 60hz or higher. This fixed it for me.

Your HDMI only does 60fps and display ports run above 60fps or it can if you have a monitor that does.
