I thought Star Citizen was out in 2014?

And Squadron 42 came out in 2015.

Right?

I've got zero issues with Star Citizen's business model. Mostly because they're not being deceptive in the slightest. If suckers wanna throw their money at it that's on them.

They are being deceptive by saying the land they are selling doesn't offer any advantages over those who don't buy them. In reality, we all know large clans who've spent thousands between them will claim the best land before most people can make enough money for a single piece of land.

So what is the point of owning land when it's a space sum game?

Apparently the new trend seems to be nominating unfinished games for awards. Gotta love the direction the industry is taking.

The game is still in alpha. It's never going to release as long as they keep making money this way.
