Steam gives me 8 to 9MB/s at it's peak.

My ISP supports higher speeds according to speedtest website, but honestly things download fast enough for me anyway.

Yeah, 60-ish Mbps is my current speed cap and I'm pretty fine with it. I could get more speed but it's not really needed - the vast majority of times when I'm downloading games it's just fast enough - I can go make a cup of tea and it'd be done. If a game is more than about 25 gig, then it can take an hour to download but these are generally rare and also I can just wait for a bit, anyway.

Mine always peaks at 3.7MB/s. Not that fast but light years faster than the old connection we had like 10 years ago. It was under 1MB/s... I remember it and I shiver.
