Couldn't find anything on google, anyone know of any? When you do normal CTRL+V it defaults to "Keep Source Formatting" but I want it to default to the source I'm pasting into or text only

If nothing else, just keep an empty text file on your desktop, then when you want to past text only into Word, simply:

1. Open the empty text file in a text editor (such as Notepad, which is the default anyway),

2. Paste the data into it (which of course pastes only the pure text, all of the text's formatting data is lost),

3. Select all in the text file (CTRL + A),

4 CUT the text from the text file (CTRL + X),

5. PASTE the text into Word (CTRL + V),

6. If you're finished with the text file, then just close it. It will still be empty, but you'll be asked if you want to save it's contents since it went from empty to containing text then empty again. Just select 'No'.

ctrl+shift+v
It isn't a universal shortcut, but it's a paste without formatting command in programs that do support it.

Thanks for the help, I've tried a few methods and the fastest I've found so far is CTRL+V,CTRL,T

Unfortunately the CTRL+SHIFT+V didn't work and it doesn't look like theres a simple way to do it with just one button combination, unless anyone knows anything else?

Change the default paste option so you can just ctrl+v.

That is indeed the fastest shortcut.
