Had a small spill, now I have to push the P key really hard for it to register. Everything else works fine. I have pretty thoroughly aired it out. With the key cap removed it works a bit better because I can push the rubber cap at the right angle.

Any advise for cleaning under the rubber cap (which doesn't seem to be removable)? Q tip and rubbing alcohol perhaps?

Here is a pic of the keyboard with the key off:

Well, maybe for a desktop, but why carry around an extra keyboard...

Hoeslty not much you can really do. Count your blessing that's all the prolly did.

Best option would to get another keyboard and keep liquids away from your expensive electronics.

Use either denatured Alcohol or Rubbing Alcohol you can just use a T-shirt it will be better and get a bigger cleaning area then a Q tip.

Also turn off your Laptop and take the battery out so you do not get water damage. If you have damaged the keyboard look on eBay for the top part all you have to do is replace it.

If you just getting crumbs out use a compressed can of air.

I've been trying to do some keyboard surgery on it for a few hours and I think the contact is just too corroded... I ordered a replacement part online.
