Prepare for the joy of Capcom netcode in a fighting game as well. Are you hyped yet?

I don't know if you're being sarcastic but Capcom's netcode is usually pretty damn good, especially MVC:I and SFV mostly. ~~

SFV is a bit unappealing. It probably serve as advertising purpose although give a bit of income at the same time.

HD Remix did not get an arcade release nor was it well received by the Japanese fighting community. I did like the balance changes the team made to the game.
In this collection it's pointless to include it when the original Super Turbo is available with online play.
The better question is, where is Hyper SF2 Anniversary Edition. This is the DEFINITIVE SF2 game.
It got an arcade release, combines all the characters from previous SF2s, and ran on the same hardware board called the CPS2.

This is gonna be a day 1 buy from me, to be honest.

Heck, it includes the Alpha games and SF3: 3rd Strike. That's enough for me. ^^

I can't wait to hear DSP's excuses when he gets his ass handed to him in Super Turbo. Probably the netcode, lag, broken characters.
Currently playing: Escape From Tarkov (EOD)
Coming Soon: Monster Hunter World (PC) | Street Fighter V: AE (PC)

I've played and bought so many versions of SF2 over the years. So many good memories associated with the game. Cool bit of news.
It's important to know what the rules are first, so that, when you decide to break them, you can better judge the effect.

Yeah, it is funny how it's not all street fighter games spanning the 30 years. I thought 4 would have been old enough. I'd hope for Street Fighter alpha 3 upper that was on PSP that added Ingrid, but I'm assuming it is either arcade or just whatever version was with their last anniversary collection (which had a version of 4 and street fighter x tekken)

I will probably get this, but I don't see the point of any of the versions of Street Fighter II besides Super Street Fighter II Turbo. Why play the same game with fewer features?

If this doesn't include alpha 3 with the extra characters and street fighter alpha 2 gold, then this is hard pass for me. You can't leave out the best versions because they're not "arcade perfect"
