R9 390 it was pretty cheap at the time and it still does want I want of it, which is 1080p gaming. Thinking of upgrading in a while though in order to be able to play in 4K comfortably.

1080Ti

Because it's pretty much required to run 4K 60fps.

My R9 280X was beginning to be a bit sub-par (plus it had artifacting issues), so I went for a GTX 1070.
As soon as I saw reviewers claim that the 1060 was the ideal video card to max 1080p, I knew that I had to get the 1070 if I actually wanted what was advertised for the 1060.
Plus I was just in time for the Gears of War 4 bundle.

Got artifacting in BF1 (that's Battlefield btw) on my PS4, so I traded it in for a PRO.

980ti

was the most reasonable card on the market for my needs at the time. Like hell I'm paying over 1k for a GPU when I only particularly want 1080/60 (hell, the 980's probably overkill on that, but I figured I'd futureproof a bit)

Travel laptop has a 1080 for much the same reason.

Vega56

Saw it for $380 at Amazon with no tax, and as someone living in California that is a good deal.

Where in California, hopefully way up north. Also Vega56 seems like a good 1070 equivalent card.

Vega 64, ordered it on launch day for £450, was cheaper than any 1080 even after shops dropped prices

1070. Got it because it was the upgrade from the 970 I had since I was building a whole new system and getting a 1440p monitor. I needed something to go with it since my old PC one was staying as it was and moved on eventually to a friends place for gaming on his projector where it's still doing a good job of that to this day.

On my old system I upgrade the GPU 3 times in its 6 year but now I don't know that I need to upgrade that much, I feel like the 1070 will be good for 1440p for maybe the life of the PC.
