Do we plug a usb thingy on our pc so that it enables us to use the xbox one wireless bluetooth controller if we don't have a bluetooth capable pc? Is one of those things included with the controller? And is there a sale on the controller?

You can buy a Xbox one controller USB, which is used to the connect the controller wirelessly, a Bluetooth adapter USB or get a micro USB cable and plug that in the computer and to your controller.

I bought a Bluetooth USB adaptor from Newegg. I'm not sure if it'll work with XB controllers.

BT is kind of dicey with the XBONE controller. I had an Asus USB-BT400, which is suppose to be one of the most compatible on the market for game controllers. It's worked okay for the most part, but would get flaky from time to time. I managed to somehow destroy the thing last night though so I ordered an actual XBOX Wireless Adapter. It's suppose to have better signal and support multiple controllers. BT can only do one XBONE controller at a time. Hardwiring definitely works best, but the micro-USB can wear out easily.

yeah the receiver from microsoft supports up to 4 controllers. except its f***ing huge. i have to put it on the side slot of my 5 port usb hub. if i use one of the other 4 slots it will block off a usb slot if i dont hook it up to an extension cable. if i put it in the 2nd or 3rd port it will block off access to the 2 ports beside it that its between.

yeah I noticed it came with the extension. I'll wire it up to sit under my monitor. The adapter actually supports 8 controller, but only 4 if you want to use headsets and other functions.

You certainly can and this eliminates the need for batteries as well. However, the micro USB connection is kind of flimsy and really only designed for charging. When charging you lay the controller down most of the time. When using it as an interface while gaming you move it a lot and put stress on that tiny connection. I bought a clip for mine recently that provides support for the cable, but it only works with the cable it comes with unless you want to try modifying one. Another person on here bought one too and he's already had issues with the provided cable.
