^You just spoiled the game by stating I was serious it was a horror game, mate.

So you not serious? Then why not post other happy/cutesy games without horror element?

Came here to recommend this. It's free, so you can't beat that price. I love the game, too.

Are you sure you want jump scare games? Because if you do, then none of the games that have been mentioned are what you want.

Jump scare games are usually indie games made by someone in a couple hours goofing off with pre-made assets in Unity. They aren't works of art.

Cry of Fear.

It's easily the scariest game I've ever played, and has some of the worst (or best, depending on how badly you want to be scared) jump scares in any horror game.

Plus it's free on Steam.

Outlast has some jump scares.

Yeah but most of them are contained within the first 10 minutes as a way of ratcheting up tension before an actual threat is thrown at the player. After that, 90% of the time the player is scared it'll be because they're in actual danger.
