I think I'm just going to buy the PSU I bought for my previous PC:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XCjG3C/evga-power-supply-100w10500kr

(I sold it last year)

Is 500W enough for overclocking the i3-8350K CPU (up to 5GHz if it can) and RAM and powering a GTX 1060 at stock clocks?

Why not go all out and never going to have to worry about any fire hazard thing going on with your pc:

Pc: i7 6700k/980 ti/16gb ram and Ps4.

I think I might go with that. 2 day shipping on Amazon and it should arrive the same day as the other last part I'm waiting on (the CPU cooler).

Oh my god. He actually took someone’s advice. I strongly suggest you do that since shoving non-modular cables into that Deepcool Tesseract is going to be a nightmare.

enjoy your build man.

BoTW is pretty fun on PC. Compared it to my switch version side by side and I was blown away how pretty BoTW looks with all the graphical tweaks on PC.

I'm running a 6900k at 4.4 ghz and I'm still getting about 30-40 fps outside of dungeons and 60 fps in dungeons.
Your CPU will be able to handle it even better than mine since it can OC to 5 ghz and has a slight IPC upgrade... Also because it has less cores it'll probably hit 5 ghz easily and at a lower temp than the 8600k/8700k. I think you made the right choice for what you were going for.

PCpartpicker shows the i5 8400 going for 200 USD.

Coffee Lake i3 is OK for gaming, but it is worse than 4+ core/thread CPUs in modern games. People telling you games don't use more than four cores are lying and have been lying for years.

You typically want to get one of the best CPUs directly since there won't be any good upgrade path in the future, other than getting a new motherboard again. Two years from now you will still be limited to the CPU selection you have today.

Overclocking has lost its value compared to ten years ago.

Ya not much for CPU upgrades for me, it would have to be a mobo CPU combo. Might be able to continue using the same RAM though. I hope so cause RAM prices are never going back down in price.

For the price, the build is horrible.

Did everyone skip the part when he said that this build is for emulation? The build is just fine for that purpose. As awesome as ryzen is, it doesn't have the clock speed required for high end emulators.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God

Then she should've bought a Raspberry Pi for like 80 bucks. And it would have been /thread a longggg time ago.
