None got me that far but KH makes me feel sad that I'm not a kid anymore.

I definitely want to check to the moon, I've seen many recommend it.

You can blow through the whole game in 4 hours so wait for a good sale, and also make sure you play it with the music on because the writing isn't that great, so the emotional impact without the music is next to nil.

Yeah, Clannad, Steins;Gate and not much else.

To the Moon counts but the writing killed the mood so often it was hard to say it really had a strong emotional impact. It'd be like if someone was constantly trying to tell jokes at a funeral.

No, never cried with any videogamme.

Got close with that game: Brothers, a Tale of Two Sons.

The end of the Chris campaign in Resident Evil 6 is also pretty gutsy.

I also almost cried of happiness back then when I finished the first Ecco the Dolphin game, the ending is great.

Never cried to any game and only cried once to a movie. It was the movie 50/50 during the scene where joseph gordon levitt breaks down mentally in the car. The only reason I cried was because I personally was dealing with something similar where I had a disease that affected the left side of the head, including my eye which is permanently damaged.

To The Moon, Shadow of the Colossus, Persona 5, Final Fantasy 14 (yes an MMO, and yes the story of it), Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8, Xenogears. I'm sure there's loads more

Quite a few, going back to the PS1 era. (can't think of any 16bit, NES, 2600 or early PC games that made me cry)

Winner hands down though would be Kana: Little Sister.

Even the one honestly good ending was a tear jerker.

Special mention to KiraKira for being light and happy-go-lucky then coming out of nowhere with a gut-punch of a surprise downer ending.
