For the most part the only people that invest in wheels are hardcore racing game lovers, similar to people buying special peripherals for fighting games or flight sims. I never use a wheel, pain in the ass expensive peripherals for specific games are too much for me, and I do as well with a controller anyway. I've never been like, damn these analog sticks I could have taken that corner if only I had a wheel. It's not a keyboard and mouse vs controller for FPS thing, you can definitely be as competitive with a controller. Joysticks for space shooters are probably essential admittedly. If you feel like it would enhance your experience, you should just get it. Geforce GTX whatever, i7 something or rather, some sticks of ram, an SSD and a Hard Drive with stuff on it. |
