Xbox 360 because it's the best. Well Xbox One controller is better but I'm not dropping cash for one until my 360 controller dies

360 controller. Works for basically every game and cheaper than the one controller which I don't really think looks any better.

Umm... Isn't it against the rules to talk about emulation on this site? I'm not gonna report you or whatever (Personally I don't see much harm in emulating old games) but I'm pretty sure if a mod see's this you could get in a bit of a pickle TC.

For emulaiton, I use a Steam Controller almost exclusively.

I use a ps4 controller for everything

I use a wired Xbox 360 gamepad for most of the emulated games I play (ie Sinclair Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Arcade). Some of the 8-bit computer games are purely keyboard controlled, though.

No, it isn't. Also, there are plenty of old games where permission has been given for emulation.

Lol, same here. 360 controllers go for like R$90-150. PS2 controllers go for around $30. It is getting harder to find them though. Do you get yours from Mercado Livre?

I got a couple of them on Mercado Livre, but the seller lied about the originality of them. They LOOK original, they sport the Sony logo and all, but are 100% fake. They DO work fine, don't get me wrong, but if you compare them to REAL PS2 controllers, you'll notice the differences (specially in the precision of the analog sticks).

I recently got an original one from a local store. Here in Aracaju there are still some stores selling old stuff, like new PS1 and PS2 controllers still on the box, PS2 laser canons, Snes and Mega Drive consoles (used, however. This store is one of those that charged by the hour for us to play games there) and even original games in the box. Last month I actually got a PS2 controller and all 3 Xenosaga games still in the box for R$120. I'm even thinking about buying more stuff to sell them on Mercado Livre later on! :p

For Pcsx2 I use a wired 360 controller as it's the only thing I get working. It's ok the 360 pad isn't so bad, it's actually pretty ergonomic for how big it is except the dpad is probably the worst pos ever.


PS: totally aware steam isn't emulation per se, but I pretty much only play games that are on PlayStation anyways, so it definitely feels like an emulator lol

Controller settings in Steam seem to mainly be saved online, so you need to export them while online or set them again while offline to make a local copy.

For PCXS2 you can add it to Steam and use the "Gamepad" controller template to use a DS4 with it.

Oh, I see thanks. Yeah I know you have to save the profiles online to use them offline but it never loads them despite them being saved (for offline use)???

I use an Xbox 360 controller, since I got it before the Xbone controller came out and I don't feel the need to upgrade unless it breaks.
