I don't understand how this is possible in 2017. I have a slow internet dl speed and i want to dl/install witcher 2, which I just got, but its 20gb, which would take me 15 hours about. If my internet goes out, even for a few seconds, is my dl progress really all gone?

If you are using the GOG Galaxy client you can pause the downloads easily. It shows the current download under the list of installed games, just click on that and press pause...

Yes, that's correct. It's 2017, I don't understand how it's possible OP didn't see that, considering pretty much any application that can download stuff works that way.

okay what the hell? I left my pc downloading witcher 2 all night on GOG. When I woke up this morning it was at 13gb/20gb and a little later it was 16/20gb. I paused the download an hour ago, closed GOG, started it up a little later, and now it says its at 12gb/20gb. What the hell happened?
