DRM on a mod, holy s*** these are dark times indeed. First time I'm seeing something like this. It's too bad Durante is boycotting Bamco and Squeenix, he's the hero we need. Good riddance. He refused to fix ToS's framerate to make it 60fps because, in his deluded mind, the Gamecube version required component cables to be 60fps and thus wasn't actually 60fps in the first place, despite the fact that anyone with decent vision could tell the difference between 30 and 60fps on a Gamecube with composite cables (I sure could). Adding DRM to a mod is also crazy, which further solidifies his raw toxicity. Seriously, poison dart frogs are less toxic than he is. I agree though, we need Durante to come back and fix Bamco's bad ports, or at the very least fix ToS's framerate so it's actually 60fps and thus the definitive version. (it's sad when the Gamecube version has a better framerate than a PC version released over 10 years later) |
Good riddance. I gotta say that the guy done some useful stuff, but as a person he is an ass. Pretentious, ignorant, aggressive and offensive. I know he'll be back soon though. But I started avoiding the forums he posts in because of his horrible attitude. And when he used a DRM on one of his mods, I decided that I didn't want to support a guy like that. Oh, and more: THE GUY BLACKLISTED USERS ON HIS MOD, so the mod doesn't work for them!!!!!
