Hey guys, i'm using an old Radeon HD6770 and i'm looking to upgrade my card but i'm kinda low on budget right now so i'm looking at the Radeon R7 265. Supposedly it seems much better than the 260 and a decent upgrade for my 6770.

I dont intend to max everything as long as it looks nice on 1080p. Do you guys think it's good to go with the 265 or is tehre a better card at the price of R7 265 ? TQ.

Its comparable to a GTX 750ti.

^ Correct.

imho TC you should get a GTX 750 Ti Golden Sample instead. The factory overclocked card has near identical performance and on soem games even exceed the R7 265. But what makes the 750Ti really shines is the low power draw. Heck, you don't even need a 6-pin connector for it. In the long run you'll save some dough.

The R7 265 is about 10% faster than a 750ti on average for about the same price as one. The 260x is more on par with the ti for about $20 less. Both draw more power than the ti, so if you're sticking this in a pre-built you'd be safer with the 750ti.
