I'm curious to see how much of a difference there is between 4670K and 4770K and what effect overclocking has.

I haven't seen any benchmarks, but I've already looked at it myself and I'm pretty sure there won't be any performance difference between those CPUs.

If you run the game at highest settings, with no AA, at the lowest resolution, the frame rate does not go down when you disable the HT cores.

It's a 4 core game, as far as I can see. But it really is a 4 core game, the frame rate really does go down when you switch from 4 cores to 3.

So I'm also pretty sure that the 6 cores sandy/ivy E CPUs aren't going to do any better either, aside from quad channel memory bandwidth increase and extra L3 cache.
