  3. How the **** do I get 1080P 60FPS for my youtube gameplay videos?

I recorded some sweet gameplay at 1080P and rendered using Sony Vegas , at 60FPS. The issue?

When I uploaded it on youtube, the quality of my video went down the drain and it looks even slower, despite the damn fact that I rendered it at max settings. someone please tell me how the hell i messed up, and how it can get the exact same quality that I rendered it in, while keeping 60FPS

Youtube doesn't support 60 FPS. Also, Youtube's max bitrate is 8 Mbps, so if you render anything above, it's going to look worse on Youtube. Even if you stay at 8 Mbps, Youtube needs to convert your video anyway it its format, and all conversions lose quality.

ugh, maybe I should just render my video at 2k video quality. it'll probably look much better than how youtube handles 1080p 60fps

youtube does not support 60fps. 30fps is the max it'll show so don' bother rendering at 60.

Also youtube will further lower the quality of your video to make it easier for people to watch it.

2K is only a bit over 100 pixels wider than 1080p. It wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. Nobody has 17:9 monitors.

This is why I only upload for 24 FPS, it's the standard for video quality, or so I heard, and at 720p, since going over there, it gets me a really big file, and by logic, it takes even longer to upload -w-

I think Youtube does support a higher bitrate than 8 Mbps according to this page.

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1722171?hl=en-GB

It says for "High quality uploads for creators with enterprise quality internet connections", you should have a bitrate of 50 Mbps at 1080p.

Then again, i have no idea how much of difference this makes, i don't really no anything of bitrates or youtube uploading!

Swifty's videos are 4k @ 24 fps

youtube videos can be any quality, for anything over 1080p, there's an "original" quality button.
