At some point this game was getting back up to the good graces of the players every where. After the terrible release back in 2016, capcom finally did something right with Arcade Edition release last year. But capcom cup last year killed this game and capcom themselves finished the job. Here's some facts:

1. Everyone at Cacpom Cup was expecting a cinematic trailer revealing at the very least 6 characters for Season 4, like what they did for Season 3. Then when the time came, they released a poor trailer showing some new moves for 2 or 3 characters and then Kage trailer, which was no surprise for a lot of people due the leak that happened one hour before the reveal.

2. Capcom not releasing a Season Pass for this year drove a lot of people away. There are plenty comments on their twitter channel to support that.

3. Letting the whole month of January pass by without nothing being added or said about the game's future.

4. Their community guy Andy Wong left capcom shortly after announcing that capcom would do things differently this year.

5. The 2500 Fm from the Missions is gone for good. And not only that, the number of tries for the Soldiers went down to 1 from 3 and they barely even appear anymore.

6. Ono will not be at EVO Japan. He announced that already.

With the lack of information about what we could expect, employees leaving capcom, and capcom reducing all our fight money earns, I think it's pretty difficulty for someone to argue that this game isn't dead.
I'm wondering if someone would dare to reasonably argue against all those facts.
Capcom is doing to SF5 the same thing that they did for MVCI which is say nothing until the community themselves realize that the game is done. And by the game I mean content. Capcom will still keep at least for one year the tournament stuff, even though a lot of pro players like Tokido, Punk, are losing sponsorship.

You're acting obsessed at this point. Perhaps you need to move on instead of reiterating the same message over and over.

All heroes have established their thrones atop not just their enemies, but a large quantity of allied corpses as well. There are no monarchs with clean hands.

Andy Wong wasn't even the first community manager the game has had. And he left because of an offer and not because he was fired.

There wasn't an announcement at EVO Japan last year either. EVO Japan isn't even that big. The name is giving them the opportunity for being a really good tournament but it's far to the likes of Final Round.

Everything else is part of the things they are doing different.

Does the fact that they don't want to release a season pass sucks? Yes.
I haven't even bought Kage yet.

But if they have the time to still release things like gutsman's costume they still have things to show. Why? Well you see:

Fight Money challenges on extra battle and fight chance are made for one thing. Reward players that spend real money with costumes, music and stages. Playera who play for characters and stuff have enough fight Money for those things.

But players who don't use real money for characters are always in red numbers. Well, most of the time. So if they spend their Fight money on trivial things then they may end up buying characters with real money. And now that there's not a season pass it's even easier.

So why would they throw the bait (aka Gutsman's costume) if they aren't going to lift the rod?
I don't speak english...yet. So please forgive me if I Write something wrong.

You didn't have to post about the obvious. The capcuck super fans will always remain optimistic, when it's a given the game is over. They'll still play because it's Capcom and Street fighter. That's why they're so.miserable still. They refuse to play other fighters.

Or you have people like myself who own and play all of the available fighters and don’t really care about the naysayers who have been here since day one complaining about a “dead” game that is still garnering attention from both fans and haters alike...
