Just to preface, s4 patch and Kage release haven’t been 2 months yet so unless they release character early like with sagat we probably won’t hear anything until closer to 2 months.

Anyways there’s an interesting theory floating about that Capcom is prepping this arcade cabinet release by holding some or all characters for the arcades first then release characters later for home users.

It does fit in what Capcom said about doing things “differently” this year. Again just a theory I heard especially since Capcom have created an unique interface for the physical arcade version.

It is possible they may be doing something to coincide with the arcade release, whenever that might be.
Super Smash Bros. is not a fighting game.

Kind of like a playtest? Makes sense, hopefully we wouldn't get any of that broken nonsense.

I got to play it earlier this month. The interface is mostly similar, it's just got arcade and training as the only options for you until it finds an opponent for you. Oh, and rank, and bp are above the life meter.
