Feel free to request sticky.

I am basically making this guide to set some things straight and to provide a reference means for those who tend to forget or are new to the game. Will update as the game updates. Use this as a guide to also unlock all characters without ever paying a real dime.

I will include a basic path for a single character play-through that includes Fight Money acquired for completion and level ups during the completion process. This has been tested on different accounts for confirmation and between multiple people. If you have any questions or see a potential error, please feel free to PM me. Without further adieu..

------------------

Fight Money is the in-game currency used for unlocking content. I will focus on just the base 16 characters and outline how you can gain enough money to unlock characters without ever touching Hard or Extreme Mode. I will also list the amounts given by those modes as well. *Please remember that while you don't need PlayStation plus for this, you still need to be connected to the internet to unlock FM*

IMPORTANT:
This outlines how much FM you will receive if you play with ONE character starting from level 1. Using this guide, each character will be brought from level 1 to level 19 allowing you to acquire 19,000FM (LVLing up) and 12,500FM (mode payouts) from doing Beginner content for a total of 31,500FM per character playthrough.

This will also introduce and give you intimate time with each character to understand them more. Maybe you will even fall in love with a character you didn't think you would and at the very least you will learn something new.

With all that out of the way, let's get...dangerouuss, Darkwing Duck!

Beginner's Route/Guide - No Hard/Extreme Survival or Online Play Needed
**************************

If you do this with each of the original 16 characters, you will have a total of 504, 000FM That's enough for 5 of the 6 DLC characters. Playing with any of the DLC characters, will grant you an extra 31,500FM per character. Follow this tutorial to get all 6.
No matter what order you decide to play the content listed below, you will end up with the same results. This is strictly for characters. Buying other content will obviously set you off track a bit but don't worry, there is enough content to get extra stuff. PHEW. Now that that's over...:

RULE: Every time a character levels up, you will receive 1000FM. Without ever touching Hard/Extreme Survival or going online, your character will be at level 19 by the end of this glorious Beginner's Journey. You may take your character beyond level 19 as character levels are kinda this game's version of player rank. It just shows how much you play with the character (how "good" you are).
NOTHING IS FARMABLE, except winning online and whenever Capcom releases Daily Targets
----------------------

!!START!!
1.Story Prologue Mode -
Completing a Prologue will grant you 2000FM.
Level up 1 to 8 = 8lvls x 1000FM for 8000FM..
2k + 8k = Total 10,000k

2.Survival Easy-
Completion - 2k FM.
Lvl up 8 to 12 = 4lvs @ 4k FM.
Total = 6000 FM

3.Trials - *Note: If you are new, it's best to go learn a few combos before trying normal. (the cpu is HIGHLY susceptible to jumpins and crossups but don't only rely on them)
Completion - 3k Fm.
Lvl up 12 to 15 = 3lvls @ 3kFM.
Total = 6kFM

4.Survival Normal - Your Final Challenge!
Completion - 5k.
Lvl up15 to 19 = 4 lvls @ 4k.
Total = 9k

5.Demonstrations - Watching Character Demos grants you 500FM and some exp towards leveling up. Note: Doing this in conjunction w/ all prior modes will not level you up past 19 but can help you towards your next level up.
---------------
Congratulations! You have reached level 19, acquired a nice chunk of change and can now Further Your Journey into Oprah/Bill Gates-ness!

Do this with all 16 characters and receive your FIRST 504, 000FM

--------------
Quick Recap Payout
Prologue - 2000FM
Survival Easy -2000FM
Trials - 3000FM
Survival Normal - 5000FM
Character Demo - 500FM
Total Mode Payout - 12,500 FM
19 Level Ups - 19,000FM

Total Pay per Character 31,500FM x 16Characters = 504,000FM (Worth Five Characters).

Life Beyond The Beginner's Guide and obtaining enough FM for the final released character:

After you receive the 504,000 FM you have several options. I will list the easiest most standard solution and then a few more.

Easiest Most Standard Route for Beginner's - Playing with new DLC characters, grants you access to their Story Prologue Mode, Trials, Survivals, etc.
+ Players after the patch (or before) should flat out purchase Alex, Guile and Ibuki. This will bring your total down to 267, 000FM =(.
+ Each character will grant you 31,500FM each. That's a total of 94, 500FM added to your 267,000FM =( for a total of 361, 500FM =)
+ 361, 500 FM. That's enough for the last 3 characters AND 61,500 FM worth of other content.
+ Use this guide with those 3 characters for an EXTRA 94, 500 total FM (31,500 for each) adding to your 61, 500 for a total of 156, 000FM
+Leveling up your characters past 19 by winning online casuals/ranked will grant you 1000FM every time.

(This was written before Balrog was revealed for June. Feel free to flat out purchase him too and get the 31,500 FM from him as explained above).
(Juri and Urien's 63,000 FM total obviously won't be seen until they release but know that you will always have this leeway amount of easy money to purchase additional content when you get them).

Less Character Route - If you don't want to do more than 16 to 17 characters (504, 000FM to 535, 500M), you may wait for Cinematic Story Mode and beat Normal difficulty for 30,000FM and Extra difficulty for 50, 000FM - a total of 80, 000FM. Add that to the 16 character route for 584,000FM and 17 character route for 615, 500FM.

From here on out, if you don't think you have enough or you want to fill in the blanks with extra FM, feel free to use the guide below. And Remember, Juri, Balrog and Urien all give that 31, 500FM.
This is BEFORE EVER touching Hard/Extreme Survivals, The rest of the demonstrations, Fighting online and all the other modes Capcom will soon be releasing. Please refer to the guide below for payouts.

FINAL PAYOUT LIST

Raise a Character's Level - 1,000 FM per level

That was the official estimated plan.

Why not? It's very informative. Especially to the people who claim that FP is so hard to come by. With this guide you can get all 6 dlc characters for free pretty easily.
