I kind of talked about this before (in the last topic I think), but along with retaining her serious and determined characteristics, Makoto does become quite more adventurous and open. It's honestly an aspect I think people talk about much (if at all) or don't pick up on much because of the whole debacle with her confidant [it's about her dammit :( ]. It is sort of implied rank 9 that she wants to try more things out because of things she realizes from the confidant. She doesn't have a lot of life experience, but she certainly is willing to change that.

The only sad part about this is you can't really do justice to her character with this aspect unless you take her out on dates where she does end up trying things and gaining more life experience (asides from the outings the PT do, but people already complain about there not being enough of those). They can only do so much unfortunately.

But I just think this one of the best developments about her character that doesn't get enough recognition. Some people think she's still just a person who can't or won't have fun and wants to just study (or something along those lines). When in actuality, she goes from the person who's head is burried in books to a perosn who wants to try new things and experience life. In the artbook it seems like she kind of did try out things a little (going on tours after exams), but who's to say that was before she met the PT? I personally interpret it to be after since the Maniax book has descriptions of even their confidants(meaning it is probably a representation of their character as a whole) and it would fit with hers.

Anyways, back to appreciating the Queen, Makoto Niijima!

Nice! I really want one of these.

I wonder if a new one will be made after Royal. I really think it's going to be a remake/enhanced version, and by the time I get the chance to buy one of these, I imagine they'll be really expensive. So much merchandise I'm missing out. :(

Yeah, I admit I paid a whopping $300~ for it. I was a little worried because I bought Arsene with it and wasn't a big fan of the way it looked and felt. (not to mention its wings are unstable)

But the Makoto figure? Everything from the texture of the bike to Makoto herself feels like it was made with real quality.

I feel like I've used this before. But it appeared recently so I'm not sure. I have too many pictures though so I'm too lazy to check.

Woah, I’m jealous. I’m not really the figure collecting type, but that definitely looks worth the money. Nice purchase.
