I thought I read that if you max all confidants without using the fortune teller boost, you get a special item you wouldn’t get otherwise, but now I can’t find it.

Can anyone confirm this is true or just confirm that I’m crazy? Lol.

It's not in that context, but there are items you can miss by using Fortune's bonus. Specifically, certain room decorations will only be given during non-level-up events at certain ranks with certain Confidants. Notably, the King Piece from Star at rank 8, and the Sushi Mug from Devil, also at rank 8 (IIRC).
Formerly a panda, formerly a carnivore. Now just a guy without a catch phrase.

@JLazarillo

That’s what it was! I was gonna try to get all the room decorations, but I figured it was only obtainable after maxing out that confidant. Any time I’ve hung out with someone (even in an non level up event) it doesn’t give me the option to pick where I want to go.

Oh well. Glad to know I’m not crazy, lol.
