Besides the fact that you collect and grind specific enemies for materials to upgrade your weapons and skills. There's also the fact that there seems to be a specific number or key chapters to complete before you unlock more. Sort of like how Monster Hunter have key quests, which is specific quests you need to complete before you can unlock the next tier before doing your urgent quest that lets you progress up the next rank. Except in here instead of rank it's chapter.


I just found that neat is all.

From the other thread calling it not really a tower defense game, you can safely say this is a 8 bit game that borrows from a lot of modern and older video game elements and its a very good thing.
