Couldn't find any proper guides or faqs for this game (there likely are several in JP, just haven't been able to find them) so thought of posting some stuff that may be useful for English players. Already burned a few days into this game so the info should be good for those of you who haven't beaten the game or stuck with a particular fusion. Don't really have the patience or time to write a complete walkthrough. (if anyone does find a good JP guides,. do post the links here!)

1. Levels
Two types: gene levels and team levels
Gene levels increase when you equip the gene and beat enemies with it to get XP
Team level increases for every new gene that you add to your collection.
The "Recommended Lv" sign most likely indicates the team level as all later bosses require a level
of 100-130, sometimes even more.

2. Easy Leveling trick
What you need:
->Encounter option (not mandate, just makes battling less time consuming)
->Leary with a good 6 hit weapon/MC with The Ripper weapon
->A gene with either Rakshasa Lotus, Asura Lotus or Magnum Fang. This will be the main fighter
->Some apples of eternity (not mandate, just gives a ton of XP)
->VIP membership
->Some R or SR genes which need levelling up
Once you have all the above, equip Leary or MC with a gene having Lotus skills. Go to any area where the eggs appear (Lollipop Labyrinth is my personal preference) and choose the highest levels available.
Once you are at the location, start encountering enemies till you find those Egg enemies. At lv100+, they will come in Scarlet variants and the main aim is to find 3 of these suckers. They have around 30 HP each, hit hard and take only 1-2 dg from attacks. Each one gives a ton of XP and beating all 3 multiples the final XP by 3. They are an XP mine and unlike most other RPGS, they never run away.

Once you have 3 of them, attack using Leary's Rakshasa/Asura Lotus and have the other 2 on guard/healing. Leary will hit them for 6 x no of hits dg (eg: Magnum fang has 6 hits so 6x6=36 dg!) which will certainly murder one of them. Do the same for the rest and once you are one step away from finishing the battery, have someone use an "Apple of Eternity" and gene switch to any genes that need leveling up and beat the last egg.

If done right, you will get about 15K-20K XP with Lv130 eggs. Mutiplied by 13.5 ( VIP membership, 3 sevens, Apple of Eternity effect). Which amounts to about a massive 150K-200K XP!
You can easily level most of the genes from Lv1-60 and learn all moves in a single battle.
If you don't use the Apple, the XP will amount to about 50K-70K which is still quite high and can raise quite a few levels for everyone.

More tips on next post!

3. Gene Fusion
All genes come in 3 different rarities.
N: Normal, three base skills, upto Lv30 max
R: Rare, six base skills, upto Lv60 max
SR: Super Rare, nine base skills (three hidden, acquired at 30-45-60), upto Lv100

The fusion part is properly explained in the game so I will not delve into it much.

4. Kepler
Kepler can be acquired from the gene boxes. It is a 4* SR rarity gene with no stats and max level. The only usage is for enhancing your cards or upgrading a gene to a higher rarity.
Ex: Rare 4* gene (maxed)+Kepler=Super Rare 4* Gene
It is very useful if you want to get a higher rarity version of the same card and is pretty easy to get with/without VIP membership.

5. Gene Collection
There are a total of 138 genes that are required for 100% completion
->12 are only available from the Gene box as guest genes, 2 per month and repeats twice per year. Need VIP membership to get good chances of pulling these.
(Joan of Arc, Athena, Calypso, Agemmenon, Seimei, Black Prince, Artemis, Wagner, Xuanzang, Gagarin, Kishibojin, Dante)
->24 are available as prizes for the battle mode events (Xmas Event, Debutfest, etc) and colosseum monthly prizes. Can also be acquired using Gift Fusion
(Kongming, Musashi, Brunhilde, Himiko, Plato, Archimedes, Columbus, Santa Claus, Parvati, Caesar, Don Quixote, Okita, Wright, Robin Hood, George, Odin, Snow White, Alice, Stephen, Valentine, Cao Cao, Hanzo, Morrigan, Vlad III)
->13 are only available through specific fusion combinations:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/825285-chaos-rings-iii/71939112/822820560
(Nuwa, Lionheart, Kamehameha, Newton, Alexander, Cleopatra, Shizuka Gozen, Iseult, John Doe, Juliet, Kojiro)
->51 are common 1*-3* cards easily found in Gene boxes, gold chests and can also be fused to one another. Not going to name them.
->14 are received as rewards for collecting all 17 treasures in dungeons. Can also be received by fusion
(D'Artagnan, Heishichi, Basho, Da Vinci, Nostradamus, Daji, Marie, Rapunzel, Michaelangelo, Qin Shi Huang, Lugh, Tutankhamun, Solomon, Shakespeare)
->19 can be acquired only by gene fusion or gift fusion
(Sun Wukong, Kenshin, Goemon, Benkei, Masamune, Jubei, Spartacus, Yoshitsune, Ishtar, Susanoo, Ikkyu, Amaterasu, Jack the Ripper, Tsukuyomi, Aleister, Yang Guifei, Ryoma, Edison, Aladdin)
->2 can only be acquired by gift fusion
(Gilgamesh, Arrianrhod)
->2 are acquired over the course of the story
(Mother, Johannes)
->1 card that is Gene box exclusive
(Kepler)
Total 12+24+51+13+14+19+2+2+1=138 genes

Collecting genes raises your Team level and this will boost all stats of party members like HP, MP, etc. This is the only way to raise MP.

6. Rainbow Spiderweb
Can be received as an item drop from parasite trees in World Tree dungeon
Save in front of the parasite tree and if you don't get the item once it gets killed, immediately restart the game (or else the game auto saves and you will have to trek the whole way again) and fight till you get the drop
You can use the teleport shortcut in the first part of the area to reach the parasite tree quicker.

7. Flowers for the Mother Gene
Snow Drop: Found near the gate at Winterland town
Firegrass: Found it in Floor 10 of the Magma Ocean, can be found on other floors
Lily Pad: Found in the initial starting location Sierra Island
World Tree Blosson: Found at the top of the World Tree on the right
Bleeding Heart: Can only be found during quest, Winterland mausoleum

8. Superbosses
Can be fought on 8th, 18th and 28th of every month in the arena. Super powered versions of the games major bosses and extremely hard to beat without using lifeline items.
So far, it looks like Super Mariv is the easiest. Was able to beat it without losing even once and multiple times. Super Dorothy is quite the nightmare.
(Super Auz, Super Grazie and Prika, Super Old One, Super Mariv, Super Gemini, Super Sagittarius, Super Aries, Super Volheim, Super Dorothy, Super Drei 6, possibly one or two more)
You get extremely rare weapon/armor drops with unique models as rewards.

More stuff coming soon!

Super Shamylan or however you spell his name is also a Superboss. He dropped wind-resistant armor, which is adorable on the girls. I had to use a few Selene's Veils because I fought him at Team Lv 99, and without maxed 5* rares.
