Performances and cutscene direction are great, writing is bad, also not a fan of the sheer volume of repetition. Not just in terms of gameplay but repeating exposition, cutscene elements, and even Red Dead Redemption-style scenes where you travel while a haunting song plays in the background. With that said, I'm down for a mechanically dense game where I just wander a weird world and I have enjoyed it so far, but we will see.

Love him or hate him there's one one thing you can say about Sam: he's got that cottonmouth.

I accidentally drove my trike into a segment of the river that was too deep for it and it sunk and got totaled. Now I can't seem to get another one at the moment.

Top 5 saddest video game deaths. Don't make the same mistakes I did.
DPOblivion was far more determined than me.

I loved how Tim Rogers called the game the "Gran Turismo of walking simulators" lol it's so accurate though. This was in his tips video.

I went straight to Hard because I hear it doesn't make a big difference, but it's needed for trophy reasons

Yes this was one of the big reasons I picked up the game. I was getting some vibes from the previews and stuff. The big kind of post apocalyptic world with few human outposts that you just kind of wander around in. It's very lonely feeling and I dig it.

I'm playing on normal cause that's what was reccomend to me. I think Tim Rogers was who I heard it from? Maybe.
