So one player gets hurt and they go from the best team in history to what we’re seeing now? Something doesn’t add up here. The lowly Brewers managed to go on a huge run without the reigning NL MVP, but without Stanton the Yankees crash and burn? The Yankees have a lot more talent than the Brewers do, so you’d think they could handle the loss of one player better.
It completely threw the balance off. Edwin won't be swinging like Stevie Wonder if he knew Stanton would be coming up after him. That's my working theory anyway.

It only took the entire postseason for Boone to draw up a perfect lineup. Unfortunately, I think everyone is too sapped to even make this work.

If they weren't completely demoralized, I truly think this lineup is absolutely unbeatable and could easily take 3 from the Astros. So I guess you never know.

They have a good lineup but especially without the juiced balls hardly unbeatable. Not historically good anwyay. Very beatable.

The Astros lineup is arguably just a little bit worse but their pitching miles better.

There might be significant minor league reform in the near future:

I told you guys. All we needed was Stanton in the lineup.

So you’re saying Verlander should throw at his leg

I really want this championship for my grandpa. He doesn't have much longer, and he's only been around for 26 rings :(

He deserves this
