So one player gets hurt and they go from the best team in history to what we’re seeing now? Something doesn’t add up here. The lowly Brewers managed to go on a huge run without the reigning NL MVP, but without Stanton the Yankees crash and burn? The Yankees have a lot more talent than the Brewers do, so you’d think they could handle the loss of one player better.
It completely threw the balance off. Edwin won't be swinging like Stevie Wonder if he knew Stanton would be coming up after him. That's my working theory anyway.
