Are the Sabres.......Good? Can I actually enjoy watching hockey again for the first time in like a decade? Nah who am I kidding they'll collapse at some point and miss the playoffs again.

Man, looking at Pittsburgh's roster before tonight's game. Full of nobodies. Pretty impressive if they keep things afloat with Malkin out...

Just thinking about how I was kicking myself for drafting 4 goalies yet my #1 is really #4 (Holtby)... so much for contract year overperformance. Kuemper is playing like he wants a Vezina at least!

Buffalo is good! Until they're not. But I do still believe in Hutton and hope they pull through...

This reminds me, I got to Vegas too late to bet on team point totals but I didn't know that at the time (why still have the sheets available if you're not taking action on them, damn it). But this is what I would have done, albeit with 3 or 4 games already gone in the season when I finalized these so not perfect...

Coyotes - 89.5 - Over
Sabres - 84.5 - Over
Flames - 96.5 - Under
Avalanche - 97.5 - Over
Red Wings - 77.5 - Over
Senators - 70.5 - Under
Flyers - 90 - Over
Penguins - 96.5 - Under
Sharks - 94.5 - Under
Maple Leafs - 102.5 - Over

Will need to revisit this at season's end and see how much I would have won if I actually was able to get them in... or lost. Feeling pretty good about most of those though!

(also not sure why the Flyers didn't have a half point, only they and Canucks at 89 were like that)

Hotlby's ratios have been pretty bad for a couple years now. If you drafted him expecting good performance in any stat other than wins, that's on you...

I wanted to believe. Contract year!!!

Though it really was a panic pick because I was going to take Binnington and he was drafted immediately before my turn... truly terrible.

Honestly if it weren't for the craziness of them coming back from down 0-2 against Columbus in 2018, he may have lost his job to Grubauer permanently!

Boudreau Watch: 1-6, still employed

Poor guy got signed years ago, and it has probably been a disaster for him. 3 GMs, no decent young players, and no end in sight.

On the one hand, none of this is even remotely his fault.

On the other hand, why not fire him? It's not like keeping or ditching him is going to make much of a difference one way or another, and he seems to have lost the room...

The saving grace for Guerin and Boudreau (if any) is theyare on their first and last seasons respectively. This is all on Leipold grasping at straws too many years in a row
