Honestly it's probably just because you were the most recent person other than Mycro to post.
Oh woops. Putting Advokaiser in my sig like this until I think of something more clever

always feels a bit bad ranking Snake5555555555 "low" (not that by standards of this list is the green zone a poor scoring...in a more random selection that isn't tailored to me like this topic was, stuff this low would probably be in the top half), just because I feel like I probably enjoy the kind of vgm snake's into way more than the majority of the board.

I like the Crazy Choir it reminds me a lot of "Total Eclipse" By Alan Parsons Project from the album I Robot which used to be one of my least favorite tracks on the album but now it is one of my favorite tracks on the album.

I think my issue here is how gridded this feels at too slow a pace, like this same exact atmosphere could be achieved with rhythms that feel less plodding to me...I LIKE the atmosphere that this achieves, but it's definitely not as high-tier an example of this kinda thing as it could be. if it was either faster or rhythmically a bit less on-the-beat Only I would probably have this like 100 slots higher

chord progression is extremely appealing to me, that exact type of "unpredictable tense atonal-ish but still has a chord progression" chord changes I LOVE (I guess it's maybe not 'unpredictable' since it's just chromatic root movement and then it's like 4 chords over and over but it's certainly not a "normal" loop of 4 chords and there's definitely not clear guidance to hint at what the next chord is going to be).

not even really practical to notate it with roman numerals since it is not really a very normal song. the root never really drifts from the same notes 4 chromatically away from each other but it uses all 4 of those chromatic-next-to-each-other notes which is an immediate way to scream TENSE music. love how it's just modulating minor chord around but then the last one is major (sort of (this is simplifying it - basically C# minor -> C minor -> D# minor -> D Major (I guess the 2nd chord could be interpreted as c diminished too but WHO CARES its juist a game...))) but ANYWAYS ITS DARK and feels like the cool end section of soilscraper from 2048 unleashed or fcff - grosstown traffic it's THat Genre of Chodr Changes I like this for the same reason I like those video game songs... it makes me very "good type of tense to feel from video game song" and basically favorite vgm emotion5555555555something about it just WORKS for me. This isn't nearly as complex/unpredictable as those examples but it evokes similar emotions in me for the same reasons anyway

also if you think of the tonal center as d# instead of c# (which vaguely makes sense because the melody starts on d#) then it is in LOCRIAN (phrygian) which is my favorite mode maybe because it is so [2nd note of the scale is one above the tonic] thing (scary) but that is not really very relevant because I do not think most people would interpret it that way because it does not make any s*bill wurtz whispering chanting"locrian doesn't exist" repeatedly throughout the building*

I love when the scary boys yell at me in this song

This got me to look up covers to see some other interpretations, really like this one (RichaadEB is generally extremely cool imo):

this remix fixes my issues with the rhythmic simplicity but I like the original's instrumentation/atmosphere more and this does not have the scary boys yelling at me in the song that I like!!!!! also the tonality is a bit less ambiguous and makes it feel less 'weird parallel harmony' and more like 'diminished chord castle' which I like slightly less (Bloodborne DLC Official Soundtrack - Laurence, the First Vicar on the other hand is more clear parallel 'transpose the minor chord around' like I described way above)
