Yesterday, around midday, I took a walk in the park with my family. It was a Sunday, and thus expectedly the park was really crowded, hundreds of people enjoying the unexpected February sun. So many parents with their children running around carefree, mothers pushing the strollers with their small babies inside, dogs playing with each other while their owners were chatting... Idyllic. Truly beautiful. I looked around, playgrounds full of children - the future of my country, enjoying their childhood, the way it has to be. And, as I took a deep breath in, once again I thought about how wonderful it is to live in Bulgaria. All around me - my own people. My fellow Bulgarians, whose ancestors lived and are buried here. People who are tied to this magnificent land, and will never betray it, just like their grandfathers shed their blood to protect it.

How wonderful it is to live among your own people, among your shared blood, land, culture, language. To struggle side by side with these people that you know are your own, to pull your country towards greatness, to have children and to help them be happy growing up to do the same. To realise that economy does not matter much at all, as long as you are with your own.

Truly, it is a joy!

So that last paragraph is just an admission that you DON’T give a s*** about corporations, right? It’s just an easy talking point to make you sound reasonable when you advocate dividing people against one another.

I went to the Daytona 500 yesterday, which involved 100,000+ people from various states, countries, ethnic backgrounds, ages, etc. and had a blast.

You wonder why economy does not matter much at all? Because the best things in life, such as living among your own folk, cannot be bought with money.

Ya that’s what I get when I go to parks in America, a bunch of people who want to come together to make the world a better place.
