New version of earthlock should be available on March 9. Should be free to those that own current version, however saves will not be compatible between the two. Meant to post this when i found out, but the board's pretty dead =(

Not sure. It's supposed to have a new trophy list as well so if it replaced current version it might render old trophies unobtainable. It may be a seperate game entirely to prevent that. If this' a concern for you I'd make sure auto-update is turned off. Or full shutdown instead of sleep-mode.

Its a totally new game just like what happened with Kerbal Space Program and its Enhanced Edition. Also last i read was that Earthlock comes out today (March 8th).

Looking forward to trying this today. Thanks again to whoever announced the sale on here a few months ago (or maybe on the PS4 board). Got this for like $4 and have been waiting for the new version before starting.

Looks like release may have been pushed back =(

"For the PS Store and Xbox Store, we first need to have the original version removed and that takes a whole lot more time that we had imagined, so the process is ongoing. This obviously impacted the launch date of Earthlock."

Switch release made it on time, here's a review https://miketendo64.com/2018/03/08/review-earthlock-nintendo-switch/

Oh well, gives me more time to finish the original Ni No Kuni anyway.

But still, that's kind of bad form that I had to search here to find the answer of why it wasn't on the PS4 store already. I understand that there are delays, but did they really just figure this out today?
