Oracle or Guardian Atro?

In my opinion:
Breaker> Anima> Guardian> Oracle.

Due to how DEF works in this game, ATK is much more valuable. Increasing your HP also increases survivability over DEF. As for REC, it's pretty much the most useless, because you will be able to fully recover your HP each turn easily with at least one support unit in your squad.

You seem to be outdated, def has been seeing an increase in viability.

Typing is just a matter of preference nowadays ever since the typing revamp (Oracle now reduces def instead of HP), but it can have an impact on units depending on their roles.

IMO, you should consider something like this:
Anima -for most units; preferably for support types
Breaker - nuker type units
Guardian - support type units (mostly healers and non-attacking bb/sbb units)
Oracle - healer units (HoT and burst heal)

Between Oracle or Guardian Atro, I'll go for Guardian simply because I might not go the healer route for him. If you do go healer route, Oracle might be better in order to increase your burst heals.

Guardian lowers Rec now , so I wouldn't advise guardian for Healers.
But as a F2P I play with what I get, though I was lucky with atro, I have an anima and a breaker.

If those 2 are the only choices , I would use both. Oracle for Burst heal and Cleansing and Guardian for BB management with BC on hit and BB fill rate.

Anima > Guardian > Lord (non-FH/FG content) / Breaker (FH/FG content) > Oracle.

Just know that Oracle still sucks.

I can't think of any reason, whatsoever to pick Lord over Breaker

The elemental heroes drop rate seems pretty high on lv1 (not sure about lv2), so farm those Mifune along with Magress!

Healer REC doesn't affect HoT, btw so Oracle does little for HoT users other than more heals for themselves

Burst heals, on the other hand, do use a tiny portion of Healer REC, but it's hardly noticeable. The most noticeable part is target REC, of which burst heals use 100%.
