Just had a thought. What were the Planeswardens doing while the Glanz Empire sought out the Space-time compass, made the crystals go berserk and transcended world boundaries? Sitting around eating popcorn? I mean, it shouldn't have been that difficult for them to figure out what the Kaiser was up to, and timeline changing could be a major problem for the Bureau. 'An S ranked Malevolent Empire of Concern' so to speak. But the only appearance they make is through Ringabel, and even he says he's not supposed to be there in the first place.

Then again, the Planeswardens haven't made any appearances in other major events throughout both games, such as the 'crystal awakenings' and the holy pillar, so perhaps I'm over thinking this. But don't you think they'd be a little concerned if they knew what the Kaiser's goals were? Or perhaps they didn't have a problem with it, and actually wanted the Empire to achieve their goal. After all, where did all of that tech which made the Skyhold fly come from? And what about the Kaiser's artificial limb? Could the Dimensional bureau have been supporting them, or was that all done by their 'engineers?' And if that's true, it would explain why Ringabel had to hide in order to help the party, because he was directly disobeying his superiors.
How can you keep so calm at a time like this, old man?! -Janne Angard
