* = the PS3 version of [Re:coded] has additional scenes that are plot-important. If you opt to play the DS game, keep in mind there's more to watch in the HD theater. However, it is best to view this after playing [Dream Drop Distance] to avoid spoilers.

So basically if you plan to not play the DS version and watch the HD theater, do it after DDD?

It's kinda coincidental how like in most games pigs are evil.

Yeah.

Though, the only scene that spoils DDD is the new secret ending, so you could really watch all of Re:coded besides that last scene (and the ending credits, too, I suppose, since the cast list spoils who's in the secret ending) and then play DDD. Though, switching back and forth like that might be a hassle.

I just read through the last several pages...

Slm, the scene at the end of Coded doesn't spoil DDD. Are you talking about this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otXWSYHw4cc

It's a hook-on preview for DDD. And it's not new, it was in the game once you get enough trophies to unlock it. It would be a bit difficult to say it spoils DDD when in fact it existed before DDD was even out...

i definitely have some problems with that list. it shouldn't be taken as bible in any case. my main problem is the idea that re:com replaces or invalidates com. imo even if you're just buying HD collections, it's worth it to spend the extra time and money tracking down a gba copy of com just to avoid re:com.

honestly days can be played before, after or alongside 2, but it should be played in direct proximity to 2 and it's not really skippable
A little glowing friend

Why should Re:CoM be avoided?

Not changing this sig until Gravity Rush 3 gets announced. Don't throw away an IP with so much potential, Sony!
