That Mage legendary is f***ed up, and the new Shaman aoe seems absurdly strong.

Mechanics seem neat so far though, I'm optimistic about this set.

I think the Shaman card seems downright horrendous

Aggro Hunter or Paladin or something has built a huge early board and they're about to slam you in the face for like 15. You topdeck Hagatha's Scheme...and it's a 5 mana Arcane Explosion that damages your own minions too. It's an AoE that you have to keep in the mulligan or draw very early to be good. It will be occasionally situationally decent against Control I guess. Overall it seems horrible. Way too inconsistent to ever see play in a competitive environment.

We've had high cost cards with absurd mulligan WR's in the past like Rexxar (though granted he served other functions) as well as Hemet and Reno. It's a pretty mediocre top deck but in scenarios like those you were gonna lose anyway, but overall it seems like good AOE for slower builds of the class.

Also take into consideration that Volcano is out the door soon, and your only reliable AOE's then (until we see more) will be Lightning Storm and Hagatha. So even if it's mediocre at best, it'll probably be an auto include in those slower lists by default.

This could be quite fun; though Doomguard is leaving, a hybridised zoo may actually want to use this at a 7 mana top end to then convert everything else once they're out at burst for an attempt at contesting and edging out a victory they otherwise wouldn't get.
It sounds like it'd be fun regardless.

This will be useful for Rogues with the Myra's Unstable Element where they can burn through the deck and then put immediate pressure on; which is a tactic they are already wanting to do in unstable element decks.

This is just good for rogue as all lackeys are 1 mana, and contribute towards combos with all the lackeys being pretty decent - especially for the rogue class due to discover/damage:

Shaman Rare (Spell)
Hagatha's Scheme

Deal 1 Damage to all minions (Upgrades each turn) [Upgrade contributes +1 to effect per turn its held in hand: E.g. Holding it for 3 turns causes it to Deal 4 damage to all minions.]

Pretty nice, especially with the loss of volcano, and Shaman otherwise lacking the ability to clear boards later in the game; it is one of those which takes a while to get going, and so you don't just get maximum value straight away (such as Priests Board clears that they can just hope to draw due to sheer power (Psychic, Hysteria, Light bomb, etc) - drawing this doesn't give you the ability you need right away).

Well then. Heavy spell mage might arise out of this, because a free spell is brilliant; but you'll need to have some sort of support to get Kalecgos to stick because of its "Kill me! Kill me now!" ability.
I like it still gets utility even if its instantly removed, a 4/12 body is good, and you get a free spell, and they have to spend resources to kill it, and if you don't, you can generate massive value, or massive damage.

BC: Your hero can't be targeted by spells or hero powers until your next turn.

Good tech card; good stats, good body and stops some of spell/hero power burst during your opponents next turn. Not much to say than that.

Summon 5 2/2 Treants

Assuming they push more treant related stuff, this could be good, as it is 8 mana for 5 2/2's isn't too bad but will need some support to push it ahead.

im liking whats been shown so far. Rafaam seems pretty good all around, seems like an obvious early craft if the rest of the new legendaries arent completely memey

I guess this Fortune Teller being a Priest hero skin means Tyrande is likely never coming back. I feel bad for all the people who missed out on her that wanted her
