Standard working as intended. Probably no more Cairne or Sylvanas-level Deathrattles until after N'Zoth leaves the rotation.

N'zoth is a the biggest offense of the entire Wotog set.

A card with such insane value with a "drawback" of putting cards like Slyvnnas, Tirion,Cairne....into your deck.

Oh...it's only a 5/7 but i have to put cards like Slyvannas, Tirion, Cairne...etc into my deck for it to work.

It's also 10 mana and those cards need to get summoned AND die before it gets value.

yea, its not like you automatically get that play on turn 10 lol. He's really just 5/7 that costs 10 in a worst case scenario of really bad luck.

I hated nzoth since I first saw it because I knew that from now one, no deathrattle deck would work without it. And now it'll limit future deathrattle cards? F***! RIP princess and forlorn stalker.

Not very surprising they're not adding any more C'thun synergy.

I'd sure like it if they took another crack at inspire, though
Secret Paladin may be gone, but its monstrous howls still haunt my nightmares. :(

I thought it was, it's not like the deck is high tier and it has some obvious holes that could be filled up without breaking it. For example I doubt giving them another 2 drop that would be even slightly better than a non-beast river croc or a bad taunt would really affect the meta at all.

It was kinda weird that they ignored inspire and joust in WOG, especially joust considering all the high cost stuff in the set. Would be a shame if those mechanics were only meant for TGT.

Apart from like, muklas champion, none of the joust or inspire cards are even playable. Inspire was meant for arena, and joust was the RNG quota. The problem with joust is that the RNG isn't "crazy fun" like Hearthstone prides itself on, it's just either pretty decent or complete garbage, which equals unplayable in constructed. Again I think it's meant more for arena, where playing a succesful gadgetzan or master jouster could win a game.

Even with high cost minion decks like Nzoth pally, you still find there's no room for stuff like Tuskarr Jouster or Argent lance. Joust is just that bad...

I wouldn't mind them printing a few new cards once TgT rotates out, but for now we just don't need more.

Thunder Bluff Valiant and Elekk are both great Inspire/TGT cards, it's just that none of the other cards are at the same power level/too slow for standard

I think Murloc Knight can come back but they really hit Murlocs hard lately. Nothing's at Old Murk Eye or Warleader strength anymore
