Witcher 3 official ending discussion *Major Spoilers*

All 3 endings (Basic)
These endings are affected by the decisions you make towards Ciri throughout the game

Ending 1
Ciri decides to stay with geralt and become a witcher

Ending 2
Ciri decides to become the empress

Ending 3
Cir dies. Geralt hunts down last crone. He kills her. Finds ciris necklace Geralt possibly dies? (more on that below)


Romance

Option 1
Tell triss you don't love her and tell yen you love her. You stay with yen.

Option 2
Tell triss you love her and then tell yen you don't love her. You stay with triss. (i'm not sure how this goes into the ending as i did not get it nor have seen anythign with it)

Option 3

Tell triss you love her and then tell yen you love her. They both dump you. It's pretty abrupt.( i'm not sure how this goes into the ending as i did not get it nor have seen anythign with it)


War (I may not be 100% correct on these. There also could be more where ciri were to rule)

Option 1
you assist djikstra (butchering his name) in killing radiover, then kill djikstra.

Tameria becomes a state under Vizima.

Option 2
Assist djikstara in killing radiover. Let djikstra take control.

Vizima escapes from the north. Djikstra rules and kills tons of people. Ehmyer is killed.

Option 3
Don't kill radiover. He repels vizima. He tooks over the north. Witch hunt continues. Ehymyer is killed


Skelliga ilsand.

Option 1
Ceyry (butchering names) is ruling and does a good job

Option 2
the one crazy girls son is ruling and turns the land into a monarchy.

Option 3
Ceyrys brother rules. Not sure what happens here.



My ending and thoughts.

Okay so here's what happened to me. I killed radiover and made tameria a state, got the ending where Ciri is the empress, and made cerys the queen of skelliga.

The thing with triss and yen is stupid. I liked tirss but I didn't like yen that much, but apparently you can't take I love you back and they both just give you the finger. Could have been done a lot better...

Here's how I see it: Ending 1 and 2 are both good endings, one from a personal standpoint and the other from a world standpoint. Ending 3 is dark and evil.

Geralt dies?
Okay so if you take a look at this ending: https://youtu.be/1r08I_h1TBE?t=3105

From here we can see that monsters are roaming all over the area. As if Ciri never suceeded in her task. Also when going through the ending decision map, it doesn't show what happened to Geralt like it did in the other 2.

Overall thoughts
I was really sad with the ending I got. It made me almost tear up (I've never cried from a game/movie). I'm ticked about the rommance thing. I'm also upset there isn't a "happily ever after" ending with triss or yen and Ciri.

It's also very strange how the things I did caused Ciri to want to become the empress and not stay with me. I thought it would of been the other way around but oh well.

Still a great game though 10/10 if a game ever deserved one. Only problems was with the dragged out search for ciri.

I doubt it honestly. His death felt so legit that there didn't really feel like there could be other options, no matter who else you had with you at kaer morhan.

Also I have the book (world of witcher) and it outlines the story. It straight up says he dies so I doubt you can save him.

Roache can take over instead of that fat guy, leading into a new termina (sp) which is allied with the empire. Something like that, what my friend got for an ending to the war

I did the same things, and yes, I was also very sad when ciri becomes empress,but it can be the true ending and maybe the best ending for the witcher saga...
What I didn't like is the "threesome" romance ending, they could add another choice before the "threesome" mission or similar, I never expected that ending...when you finish the game you're very very alone in kaer morhen

A question, when the story ends, is possible to see again your friends : zoltan, dandelion, triss or yennefer, independently the ending that we choice?
