WTF is going on? Health draining rapidly all of a sudden and about to die

Goddammit. I don't know what the f*** just happened, but I was going along the coast and came upon a beehive or something. All of a sudden my health is depleting ridiculously fast, like 10% per second, and I have no clue how to 'cure' whatever the hell is happening. There are no bees around me. Is there any potion or anything I can do to stop me from dying? I literally have like 3 seconds left. I've been chugging health restoring items, but no effect at all.

I don't even know how to check what status effect it is. I save the game often but I didn't for 20 minutes, just strolling on the beach and no enemies in sight. Only thing on my Witcher sense was the beehive, but I didn't know what the f*** it was, I thought it was some item that was on top of this short wooden ledge it's hanging from. Fuuuuuuck.

Plus, I came upon a nice cache of treasure, and IIRC it's all random right? So when I die and go back to that spot, there will be different items in it?

have you drank a ton of potions and the edges of your screen are green?

What item do I need to cure it? f***, I don't think I have time to even use it once I unpause the game. Blah I hate myself right now. Just 20 min of progress but I found really good items in a treasure cache, and I'm almost certain that it's random, so I won't find the same stuff when I come back.

poison gas/wasps: Run the hell away.
Poisoned yourself with too many potions: White Honey potion clears all active potion effects and resets your toxicity.

I ran away, but it won't stop draining. Is aard the one that blasts a wave of force? How far do I need to be? Haven't used any potions recently so toxicity isn't a problem. I think I got like 2 or 3 seconds of health left when I unpause.

you overdosed on potions. I guarantee it.

well, bees will chase someone up to 100 feet or so, africanized bees a half mile.

and since everyone knows wasps are incredible ***holes, maybe jump in the water or something?

I have White Honey. Can I select it from the inventory and drink it, or do I have to equip it or something? I would need to use it practically immediately.
