I lost 30 VR for getting last in a room full of 10,000 VR players, and gained a whopping 3 points for getting 3rd. I went from 10,100 VR to 9949 in less than half an hour. Why did they have to change something that wasn't broken?

What??! That's so messed up... :\ It seems like it's less balanced...

Now that I think about it, other things (the items) seem even more broken now. I got nothing but coins in first and got screwed right at the end... 1st--> 7th

It is. Not only do you gain fewer points + lose more points, but the VR cap is exponentially higher. What were they thinking?

Hasn't it always been like this? You just have to get in lobbies with people with lower VRs than you to make any progress.

Not sure it was intended, maybe it's only a side effect of changing the cap.

Online VR is kinda ruined if they don't fix this. Even with players of the same VR and strenght, you loose more on average than you gain.

I doubt I would have reached 9999 if it was like this since the game was out.
