I'd like to start by saying I exclusively use the mobile version of the site, so my apologies if it's different on PC. I seem to remember this being a thing 5 or 6 years ago, but I have no idea if I'm misremembering, or if it was on PC.
Anyway... lately I've been coming across a lot of spoiler tagged links. I click the spoiler to reveal it, and I'm redirected to a different page/site from the link that I had no way of knowing was there. It's only a minor inconvenience, but after 10+ times it becomes quite annoying.
I can think of 3 solutions:
1- Make links unable to be spoiler tagged. This is stupid since many articles have spoilers right in the URL. Not often, but I've seen it more than a few times.
2- Disable links if spoiler tagged. This is also stupid, because then why post the link?
3- Add a "reveal spoilers" tag to the top of the page. This seems to be the only logical solution I can see. Then if I reveal them all at once I can see that it's a link and avoid it if I choose, and if I'm spoiled by the articles URL it would be by my own accord, because I knew the risk.
There are other minor reasons that I think this would be a good implementation, but overall the links are the biggest imo, and my main reason for bringing it up.
This site is starting to bore me. I need to get around more. Sooooo... "@" me to a random topic to receive a cookie!
