I don't see any harm in quoting like this. Not every reply has to add something to a discussion, simply showing you agree with someone is totally reasonable IMO.

As for it being annoying, if everything that someone finds annoying was banned then nothing would be allowed.

This actually was moddable at one point years ago iirc. I don't think it is anymore though.

-Quoting a post without adding additional content: Before, if you quoted a user and then added no content of your own, this resulted in a moderation. As long as this doesn't result in a flooding within the topic of users doing the same thing, this is no longer considered an issue.
